Container for storing a liquefied gas comprising a bottle (1) having an outlet opening (2) and valve means (3) secured to the outlet opening (2), which valve means (3) include a relief valve (7), a flow control valve (13), a first open-ended pipe (19) connected to the inlet (8) of the relief valve (7) and arranged in the bottle (1), and a second open-ended pipe (23) connected to the inlet (14) of the flow control valve (13) and arranged in the bottle (1), wherein the centre of the opening (27) at the free end of the second pipe (23) is located at or near a plane (29) defined by the centre of the opening (25) at the free end of the first pipe (19) and the central longitudinal axis (28) of the valve means (3) and at the other side of the central longitudinal axis (28), and wherein the opening (25) at the free end of the first pipe (25) is relatively close to the inlet (8) of the relief valve (7). <IMAGE> |
