PURPOSE:To detect moving amount of a mover stably by securing a pair of sensor parts, comprising a coil and a core having approximately same width as that of the stator tooth of a stator, to the mover while magnetically isolating from each other and oppositely disposing the sensor to the stator core while shifting by 1/4 pitch. CONSTITUTION:A pair of sensor parts 10, each comprising a U or E-shaped core 12 having approximately same width as the stator tooth 1a of a stator 1 and a coil 13 wound around the core 12, are secured to a mover 2 while being isolated magnetically and the sensors 10 are oppositely disposed to the stator tooth 1a of the stator 1 while being shifted by 1/4 pitch. Since the sensor part 10 has same width as the stator tooth 1a, flux is produced from the coil 13 at the sensor part 10 in parallel with the stator tooth 1a and the flux does not cross across the stator 1 at the joint thereof. |
