发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTING WIRE-ROD
摘要 PURPOSE:To lessen the alternating current loss of a high-temperature superconducting wire-rod and to improve the thermal stability thereof by selecting the beam diameter of each of plural long wavelength laser beams and the space between the beams so as to control the width of each of superconducting portions, based on the non-irradiation of the long wavelength laser beams, which are positioned between nonsuperconducting portions. CONSTITUTION:A non-superconducting portion 6 is formed at each of irradiated sections while a superconducting portion 5 is formed at each of non-irradiated sections by giving longitudinal scanning of plural long wavelength laser beams 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d mutually arranged parallelly with the space of one beam therebetween or at spaces to a high-temperature superconducting thin-film as a tape-like member prepared through the process of bonding the high-temperature superconducting thin-film onto the plane of a substrate 1. Since each of the laser beams 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d can be formed in sharpness by being converged, the width of each of the non-irradiated sections formed by the laser beams 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d and the space between the portions can be accurately controlled so as to randomly and accurately control the width of each of the superconducting portions 5 remaining between the non-superconducting portions 6 by selecting the width of each of the laser beams 4a, 4b, 4c, 4d and the space between one another. Thus, a high-temperature superconducting wire-rod can be further thinned over that formed by a conventional rolling method while being able to have improved- thermal stability since the non-superconducting portion 6 different from an insulating member is interposed between the superconducting portions 5.
