A segmented block copolymer comprises non-crystallisable segments (I) and partly crystallisable segments (II). (II) have the following formula: -NH-R2-NH-(C(O)-R1-C(O)-NH-R2-NH)n--C(O)-R1-C(O)-(NH-R2-NH-C(O)-R1-C(O))n- and/or -NH-R3-C(O)- or a reaction prod. of this with a diamine or a dicarboxylic acid (deriv.), where n = 1, 2 or 3; R1 and R2 = aliphatic, alicyclic or (partly) aromatic gp.; R3 = opt. substd. hydrocarbon. (II) have uniform block length.
