Method and arrangement for measuring and monitoring the corrosiveness of liquids in circulating systems for energy and material transport, where the galvanic current is measured continuously or discontinuously between the construction material and an electrode which is immune or passive in the liquid. By virtue of the fact that the measuring is carried out directly on the construction material, the electrode (the cathode) has a smaller surface area than the construction material (the anode) and the measuring can be performed without electrode exchange during the entire life of the construction material, the method provides a more representative picture of the corrosiveness of the liquid in the liquid system concerned than previously known methods. |
