PURPOSE:To improve the adhesive property to a base material by forming the film of a mirror reflection coat while the respective formed layers are subjected to an active gas treatment and ion treatment. CONSTITUTION:The lens of a plastic base material is pretreated and washed and thereafter, the hard coating layer is formed on this surface. After the lens is washed, the surface is subjected to the active gas treatment as the pretreatment by a high-frequency electric discharge in a gaseous Ar atmosphere of a vacuum vapor deposition device. The films of SiO2, ZrO2, etc., are then formed by a vacuum vapor deposition method on the surface and are subjected to the activation treatment between the respective layers by the high-frequency electric discharge executed in the gaseous Ar atmosphere. The reflection coat formed by this treatment has a blue reflected light color. The reflection coat having the excellent adhesiveness of the films is thus obtd. |
