PURPOSE:To generate a smooth musical sound having a high performance by controlling a filter means by using a coefficient to which an interpolation is performed, for a filter coefficient stored in a storage means, and filtering a musical sound waveform generated by a waveform generating means. CONSTITUTION:A controlled oscillator 6 generates a waveform corresponding to a pitch and a timber, and a coefficient generator 7 generates a digital filter coefficient and it is supplied to a controlled filter 8. The filter 8 controls a sounded timber and outputs musical sound data. Subsequently, an envelope generator 9 generates envelope data added to the musical sound data and outputs it to a control amplifier 10. The amplifier 10 calculates the musical sound data from the filter 8 and the envelope data from the generator 9 and adds an envelope, and amplifies and outputs them. In such a way, by sounding by a filtered musical sound waveform, a smooth musical sound having a high performance is generated. |
