The invention relates to spectacles (10) with articulated lenses (24, 26), the frame of which comprises a front cross-piece (12), at the two ends of which are mounted two sides for going over the ears, and two lenses which are articulated with respect to the cross-piece, these spectacles being characterised in that the articulation (32, 34) of each lens is mounted on the said cross-piece in the vicinity of the central part of the cross-piece (12), and defines a pivoting axis (XX, YY) inclined with respect to the horizontal and contained in a generally vertical plane, in a direction such that the corresponding lens is entirely located on the same side of the axis, with the result that each lens can pivot in its entirety, about its respective pivoting axis, forwards, and both upwards and towards the centre so as to uncover the ocular area entirely. <IMAGE>
