PURPOSE:To compose a color toner image of stable picture quality on a photosensitive body by equipping an electrostatic charger which performs electrostatic charging and a device which performs image exposure with a cleaning means. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic charger 7 and write device 8 perform the electrostatic charging and image exposure on the facing-down surface of the photosensitive body where a toner image is formed respectively, so toner is easy to stick on a grid 7a on the front surface of the electrostatic charger and the light projection front surface 8a of the 'Selfoc(R)' lens array part of the write device 8. For the purpose, the electrostatic charger 7 and write device 8 are equipped with the cleaning means 21 so as to easily remove the sticking toner. Wiping members 21e and 21f are made of elastic material such as foamed urethane fitted to a reciprocal motion body 21d and contact the grid 7a on the front surface of the electrostatic charger 7, etc., and the light projection front surface 8a of the 'Selfoc(R)' lens array part of the write device 8, etc. Consequently, the color image of high picture quality can stably be formed. |
