The kiosk is tubular, stands upright, and comprises a basic body (2) and a roof which protects the advertising surface partly and the inner room of the kiosk completely. The basic body (2) is formed as a transparent protective cover (6), which surrounds a carrier unit (8) which is movable and illuminated for an advertising surface (9) which it supports. The carrier unit (8) has a drive fitted in the floor part (3) of the basic body (2). The protective cover (6) inter-engages with the floor part (3) and roof part (4), leaving ventilation slots in so doing. The carrier unit (8) is formed as a turnstile (10), with three upright plates (12-14), having a rotary axis (11) in both the floor part (3) and the roof (4).
