<p>PURPOSE:To simplify input operation by inputting data to a computer by using a prescribed data form by a facsimile. CONSTITUTION:When the prescribed data form 10 on which the character pattern of the data to be inputted and the reference pattern of this character pattern are written is transmitted to the computer 2 by the facsimile 4 through an interface 6, correspondence relation between the character pattern and the reference pattern of the data form 10 is discriminated by a discrimination index, and is read in, and simultaneously, the character pattern is recognized, and is inputted as the data while the read in correspondence relation between the character pattern and the reference pattern is taken into consideration. Thus, at the time of inputting the data to the computer, the key of a keyboard need not be operated, and besides, since the character pattern is recognized, and is inputted as the data by taking the correspondence relation between the read in character pattern and the reference pattern into consideration even if the data form is got out of position because it is inserted obliquely, the input processing of the data can be executed surely.</p> |
