In the bridge construction method, the prefabricated slab smoothely gets forwarded because rolling devices are fixed on the upper faces of the bridge piers. The bridge sliding equipment comprises a movable hook (1) where a number of pulleys are axled with an axial rod and a number of grooves are formed for inserting the pulleys, fixed hooks (57,58) fastened to the bridge slab (55) and the bridge pier (56) respectively, a wire rope (59) zig-zag passing through the pulleys, pairs of rolling devives (12) positioned on both side ends of the bridge piers (56,60) and in contact with the bridge slab, and pairs a hydraulic cylinders equipped in the bridge piers.
