PURPOSE:To enable using of the tracing operation carried out by a debug assistant device by an operating system OS on a VM by converting the address of a tracing area designated by the running OS into a physical address when the tracing area of the running OS is kept in a page-in state and supplying the physical address to the debug assistant device. CONSTITUTION:An output means is provided in an instruction processor 300 convert the address of a 1st tracing area 111-i of a virtual main storage 110-i allocated to a running OS into the address of 2nd tracing area 120 of a main storage 100 and output this converted address. Then the occurrence is monitored for a program even designated by the running OS by a debug assistant device 200. Then this device 200 stores its minitoring result into the area 120 designated by an output means when an event occurs at the processor 300. Under such conditions, 1<=i<=m is defined. |
