<p>PURPOSE:To input numeric data only by the movement of a continuous one- dimensional pointer by deciding the incremental/decremental speed of an inputted integer value as the number of continuous one-dimensional positions of a pointer on a display screen, and inputting the numeric data based on the one-dimensional position. CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with a display data decision program 13 which performs control to decide the incremental/decremental speed of the numeric value of inputted numeric data as the function of the continuous one- dimensional position of the pointer 6 in a display area 5 for input while a position input means 12 is operated, and also, to perform control to keep the incremental/decremental speed constant not depending on the value of the one- dimensional position while no position input means 12 is operated, and when the numeric value is increased or decreased, the numeric data selected by the continuous one-dimensional position of the pointer 6 is inputted.</p> |
