<p>In a method for assembling a well template (3) on the sea floor (8) a protective structure (1) is first placed on the sea floor. The well template (3), which fits into a central opening in the protective structure (1), may either be lowered down together with the protective structure or in a subsequent separate operation. By means of for example jacks (2) the well template (3) is levelled and secured relative to the protective structure (1) while casings (13) are brought down and into the sea floor through well slots (14) on the well template (3). The upper end of the casings (13) is connected to the well template (3) to form well heads (6). The well template is now held by the casings (13), whereupon the connection (2) between the well template (3) and the protective structure (1) is released thus allowing the last-mentioned to undergo settings or other kinds of smaller movements without this leading to forces acting on the well template. Also shown are several examples of submarine installations utilized in the method.</p> |
