<p>PURPOSE:To remove snow-accretion-free rings continuously,-automatically, and quickly by sandwiching the many snowaccretion-free rings fixed to an electric wire at regular intervals between the semicircular peripheral grooves of both rolls one by one and pressing the rings with protrusions projected on the surfaces of the semicircular peripheral grooves. CONSTITUTION:An overhead transmission line A and snow-accretion-free rings is sandwiched and passed between the semicircular peripheral grooves 3a and 3b, opposite to each other, of ring removing rolls 2a and 2b. When driven with a roll drive 7, the rolls 2a and 2b between which the overhead transmission line A and snow-accretion-free rings is sandwiched rotate, therefore, the main apparatus moves on the overhead transmission line A in the direction of the arrow, continuously sandwiches the snow-accretion-free rings B fixed to the overhead transmission line A at regular intervals between the semicircular peripheral grooves 3a and 3b, opposite to each other, of the rolls 2a and 2b one by one, and presses, crashes and breaks the rings with the protrusions 4 and 5 of the semicircular peripheral grooves. Thereby the snow-accretion-free rings B can be removed from the overhead transmission line A.</p> |
