PURPOSE: To facilitate manufacture by covering the outer sides of thin foldable wall members for forming core bodies having the edge parts of a sun visor with a decorative material, and bonding the folded cone bodies to the decorative material through an adhesive provided near the edges of the core bodies. CONSTITUTION: A sun visor assembly 10 is provided with walls (wings) 11, 13 as inner core bodies formed of thin self-supporting materials into one hinge- shaped part. Respective walls 11, 13 are folded around the folding line 15 for providing an incorporated hinge. The outer front surface of the sun visor 10 is covered with a decorative material 17 formed by integrally bonding cloth, leather or a vinyl sheet to a foamed back material of a polymer. In this decorative material 17, an adhesive layer 27 is provided near the edges of the wall 13 in contact with the edges of cloth to be bent inward folded beyond the ends of respective core bodies 11, 13 before the core bodies 11, 13 are folded and closed, and both core bodies 11, 13 are held in the closed state through the adhesive layer 27. |
