摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To cope with a change in printing density caused by a heat accumulation in heating elements and a crosstalk of the heating elements by a method wherein at the time of a forward action or a reverse action, adjacent dots in a heating element aligning direction and adjacent dots in an orthogonal direction to a heating element alignment are prevented from being printed simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:Transfer paper S is fed from a paper feed cassette 10 into a printer in a forward direction A and stopped when facing a thermal head 1. Then, the transfer paper S is moved in the direction A, and signals are applied to heating elements forming the thermal head at a predetermined timing to form (n-1)-th and (n+2)-th dots on the (k-1)-th line. Succeedingly, n-th and (n+3)-th dots on the k-th line and (n-2)-th and (n+1)-th dots on the (k+1)-th line are formed. Next, the transfer paper S is moved in a direction B, and signals are applied at a predetermined timing to form (n-1)-th and (n+2)-th dots on the (k+1)-th line. Succeedingly, (n-2)th and (n+1)-th dots on the k-th line and n-th and (n+3)-th dots on the (k-1)-th line are formed. This printing action is repeated m-times, whereby all of dots to be printed are completely printed.</p>
