At the top of a leg (3) is fitted a support (5) to which is affixed an advertising or informative message. This support can pivot about a joint (9) on either side of an upper position of rest to which it is taken by the action of a counterweight (11) arranged at the end of a rod (12). Inserting the rod (12) into the panel (5) causes the counterweight (11) and, with it, the centre of gravity of the movable assembly to approach the joint (9). It is then easy to turn the panel (5) about one or other of the two pivots (X1, X2) to take it into one or other of two low and stable maintenance positions after rotation through substantially 180 DEG . Application to large publicity or informative panels of the type encountered along roads to facilitate their maintenance or changes of message.
