The invention relates to a pressure monitoring device for pressurised pipes, in particular for rotary piston pumps with a delivery pipe and a pressure measurement instrument. The delivery pipe has, in its internal wall, an annular groove and an elastic ring in the shape of a cuff, inserted into this groove, with which it forms a compressible annular chamber. The annular chamber is filled with a pressurised liquid and is connected by a pipeline to the pressure measurement instrument. This makes it possible to continuously obtain a correct indication of the pressure, even during the pumping of viscous liquids and materials of thick consistency.
