The glazed facade joint is formed by a support fitting between the edges of adjacent panes and a cover strip, fitting over both panes and clamping them via an elastic seal. The support (6) has a mounting recess (8), extending at right angles to the panes (3). It takes up a flange (11) on the strip, fitting between the panes. The recess and strip have mating teeth (9,12) to lock the strip in position. The teeth are held in engagement by the pressure from the elastic seal (7,14). ADVANTAGE - No need for screw holes in the strip, and fast assembly.
