摘要 The coherent, long-term integration for monopulse radar in rotary target searching heads, is carried out using a pair of aerials for detecting the azimuth and elevation angles fitted in a coordinate system coupled to the missile. For a phase monopulse process, the phase difference of the received signals between two spaced aerials is evaluated. The useful signal is extracted by coherent integration over a longer time period, e.g. of several twist periods. A specified reception signal is pref. transformed into an output signal with special characteristics. For the process the two input signals have their frequencies mixed down with the transmit frequency, while subsequently summation and differential signals are formed and amplified. USE/ADVANTAGE - Missiles and weapon platforms, with simple design and rapid identification process.
