PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive recording material having high sensitivity, generating no optical deterioration at the time of reproduction and performing recording enhanced in storage stability by applying an optical recording material containing nitron to a support to form a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:(4-diethylaminophenyl)-N-phenylnitron and a styrene/allyl alcohol copolymer are dissolved in anisole to prepare a coating solution which is, in turn, applied to a quartz plate and dried to obtain a nitron-containing membrane. Next, the membrane is irradiated with light, for example, having a wavelength of 405nm to record a predetermined pattern on a recording material and subsequently allowed to stand in hydrochloric acid vapor to fix the pattern. The fixed membrane is irradiated with the same light used in fixation to be reproduced. Further, the fixed membrane is allowed to stand in alkali vapor to be returned to a recordable state. |
