PURPOSE:To improve varistor function and capacitor function by mixing the first constituent where Sr of SrTiO3 is partially substituted by Ba with the second constituent such as Nb2O5 that promotes semiconduction, third constituent such as Al2O3 that improves dielectric constant and a surge resistance, and fourth constituent resulting from firing a mixture of CaTiO3 and SiO2 of specified composition that improves decreases in varistor voltage and dielectric constant at a specified temperature. CONSTITUTION:The title composite comprises 100wt pts. of the main constituent containing the following: 90.000-99.998mol% of the first constituent of Sr1-xBxTiO3 (0.001<=x<=0.300); 0.001-5.000mol% of the second constituent, a kind or more of Nb2O3, Ta2O5, WO3, Dy2O3, and Y2O3; and 0.001-5.000mol% of third constituent, a kind or more of Al2O3, Sb2O3, BaO, BeO, PbO, SiO2, SiC, SrO, Tl2O3, and ThO2; and 0.001-10.000wt pts. of fourth constituent resulting from firing a mixture of CaTiO3 60.000-32.500mol% and SiO2 40.000-67.5mol% at 1200-1300 deg.C. This constitution increases surge resistance. |
