The installation consists of a wall mounted instrument (1) inside the conditioned building and a thermometer (8) in the outside air. The instrument has a pair of indicator needles (2) which move along scales (2) to indicate humidity. Alongside the instrument is a thermometer for the inside air. On the dial plate below the needles and scales is a chart which enables the usertoL calculate the relative humidity level and determine if changes in heating or ventilation are necessary.
