摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To keep engine power even at a moment that a turbo operation is switched to a ramjet operation, by constituting an engine so that it guides air flow to a ramjet inlet duct at its first operation position and it guides air flow to a turbojet inlet duct at its second operation position. CONSTITUTION: An inlet cone 10 is provided radially inside of a conical guide ring 11, and a lock ring 12 which can slide axially against the inlet cone 10 is provided radially outside of the conical guide ring 11. At its first operation position, the inlet cone 10 and the guide ring 11 at a forward terminal position and the lock ring 12 at a backward terminal position form a duct wall, and this duct wall guides air flow to a ramjet inlet duct 4. At its second operation position, the ramjet inlet duct 4 is closed by the lock ring 12, and air flow is guided to a turbojet inlet duct 3 on the both sides of the conical guide ring 11.</p>
