Heat pump with atmospheric collectors, in which a working fluid circulates which is successfully compressed, condensed and decompressed, and then vaporized in order to produce thermal energy, for example in a heating or hot-water installation. The installation equipped with the heat pump according to the invention essentially comprises a compressor 10, whose outlet is linked to a condenser 14 located in the lower part of a reservoir 16 of the ordinary hot-water network. The outlet from the compressor 14 is connected to a heat exchanger 28 whose outlet is connected to a pressure-reduction member 32 and thence to a collector/ evaporator located outside. The exit from this collector is connected to the compressor 10.
