<p>PURPOSE:To correct the orbit of a ball bit at a position deviated from the center of a hitting plane and to make the ball approach a target as near as possible by forming the hitting plane of a putter for golf by bending in a bracket type or cutting in tapered shape. CONSTITUTION:The hitting plane 2 of the putter 1 for golf is bent in the bracket type or cut in the tapered shape. When such putter is used, a satisfactory result can be obtained by hitting the ball at the center of the putter, however, the orbit of the ball can be corrected even when the ball is hit at a part deviated from the center, and it can approach the target as near as possible. In other words, when the ball is hit at a part deviated leftward from the center, spin in right turn is generated in the ball by the function of a curved plane or a tapered-cut plane, and the orbit of the ball can be corrected rightward after an approach run. Also, when the ball is hit at a part deviated rightward from the center, the spin in left turn is generated in the ball by the function of the curved plane or the tapered-cut plane, then, the orbit of the ball can be corrected leftward after the approach run.</p> |
