The invention relates to a veranda which permits two levels of closure: the initial closure in line with the facade or the creation of a closed veranda. The glazed facade can be stored in a storage unit to render access totally free. It consists of a fixed roof assembly, which can be folded or is composed of arches which can be recessed, a portico, a support beam assembly to be fixed in a cantilevered manner on a facade. The veranda can be equipped with a box enclosing a solar protection which is unrolled on the roof manually or mechanically. A set of glazed panels slide between a guide rail embedded in the ground and an upper guide profile with the aid of the rolling bearings mounted on a pivoting shaft to follow the curves of the rails. The veranda according to the invention is intended in particular for establishments which do not wish a fixed installation on public ground. <IMAGE>
