PURPOSE:To reduce the load on an oil pump and enhance the rate of fuel consumption by correcting the working oil pressure, which is set by a working oil pressure setting means in steady operation according to the degree of throttle opening, on the basis of the suction air amount sensed by a suction air amount sensing means. CONSTITUTION:A controller 7 is fed with signals given from a throttle sensor 8 to sense the degree of throttle opening TH of an engine 1, an air flow meter 10 to sense the suction air amount Qa, and an engine revolvin speed sensor 11 to sense the revolving speed of engine Ne. First the standard line pressure is determined from the line pressure data in accordance with the degree of throttle opening TH. Then the standard air amount Qa(s) is determined on the basis of the read values of the degree of throttle opening TH and the engine revolving speed Ne in conformity to the contents of a standard air amount table. The air amount ratio Ko is calculated from the values of suction air amount Qa and standard air amount Qa(s), and with the result therefrom the standard line pressure is corrected. Thereby the working oil pressure in steady operation is self-corrected, and there is no more need to set the working oil pressure at some higher level, and the load on the oil pump can be suppressed to possible minimum. |
