PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain a granulated food always edible integrally with a dried food material containing vegetable fiber and dried lactic acid bacterial by subjecting a powdery or granular material containing dried powder of the food material containing the vegetable fiber as a principal ingredient to granulation in a fluidized bed using a lactic acid fermentation liquor as a binder. CONSTITUTION:A fluidized bed of a heating atmosphere is formed in a powdery or granular material made of dried powder of a food material containing vegetable fiber and a lactic acid fermentation liquor is then sprayed from the upper side of the fluidized bed to granulate the aforementioned powdery or granular material using the lactic acid fermentation liquor as a binder. One or two or more of vegetable, fruits, grains, spices, polysaccharides sparingly soluble in water, etc., are used as the food material containing the vegetable fiber. Minerals, amino acids, vitamins, bifidus factors, dietary fiber, etc., may be blended with the above-mentioned powdery or granular material. As for the lactic acid fermentation liquor, treated vegetables and/or treated fruits, dairy products or mixtures thereof are preferably used as the object of fermentation according to the purpose. |
