PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of characteristics of machining quality by detecting the room temperature of a laser beam machine installation location and inputting this signal to control cooling water within the specified temperature from the room temperature. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam is emitted from a laser beam oscillator 1 and a work 8 is irradiated with the laser beam via a reflection mirror 3a and a condenser lens 4a which are optical parts cooled by the cooling water supplied from a cooling water circulating device 5. The room temperature of the installation location of the laser beam machine is then detected by a temperature detector 6. The signal from the temperature detector 6 is inputted and the cooling water is controlled within plus 5 deg.C from the room temperature by a cooling water controller 7. Consequently, the deterioration of characteristics of the optical parts due to dew condensation can be prevented. |
