摘要 PURPOSE:To remove a noise signal by an automatic ultrasonic flaw detection device which reads and records automatically the expanded width of a flaw detection signal obtained from a material defect and a defect position in a material by recording an optional number of signals in order from a large- amplitude signal. CONSTITUTION:When ultrasonic flaw detection is started, a synchronizing circuit 40 outputs a trigger with the command of a controller 66 which is processed by a CPU 68 and a pulser 10 is put in operation to send an ultrasonic wave from a transmitting element 31. Then the flaw detection signal which is passed through a receiving element 32 and an amplifier 20 is converted by an A/D converter 63 into digital data, which is stored in a serial access memory 64 until the conversion of a serial signal, i.e. one pulse of the ultrasonic wave ends. After the 1st conversion, the controller 66 sends a signal processing command to a digital signal processor 65 and a similar processor 66 receives the flaw detection signal of the memory 64 and performs arithmetic processing. The result is written in the RAM 67 of a personal computer and transferred to a hard disk 52 in a free time.
