PURPOSE:To manufacture a catheter tube which possesses the high outside diameter precision and has a strong braided layer having a small inside tolerance by extrusion-molding a resin inner layer on a mandrel and applying a braided layer on the inner layer, extrusionmolding a resin outer layer on the braided layer, and removing the-mandrel. CONSTITUTION:The inside diameter tolerance can be reduced, since a resin inner layer 2 is extrusion-molded on a mandrel 1. Further, since a braided layer 3 is formed in the state where the mandrel exists, a variety of materials can be used as the material for molding the braided layer. Accordingly, when the braided layer is formed from the material having a large elasticity, the large torque transmissivity can be provided. Further, since a resin outer layer 4 is extrusion-molded under the existence of the mandrel, the extrusion on the braided layer 3 is sufficiently facilitated, and the outside diameter precision is improved. In the final stage, the mandrel 1 is removed. Since the mandrel acts as a core member, the metal wire, plastic wire, metal rod, plastic rod, etc., are used. Further, as the material for the braided layer 3, are illustrated the metal wire, organic fibers such as carbon fiber, or the string, cord, woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, etc., made of these materials. |
