The bottle stopper contains a plastics, hollow, top-open body (1). The body inside contains a compressed, elastic member (3) in the form of a coil spring, with a load support (4) at the end facing the body opening. The shaft (1a) of the hollow body in the bottle neck (5) holds the support in position. The space (7) between the support and a cap (9) may be filled with load exerting material (8).
