A pump system (1), esp. for food fluids, has two intermediate holding vessels (2,3), connected to each other and with a suction line (6) to a fluid container branched from the vessel connection line (4). A pump (7), creating vacuum and overpressure, is connected via a control valve unit (12,13) to the vessels. Each vessel is connected via separate vacuum (20,21) and overpressure (15,16) lines to the control valve unit. USE/ADVANTAGE - A less complicated, more versatile pump system for food products.
