PURPOSE:To prevent deleting of such information which requires to be stored by writing a flag to inhibit writing of new information or erasing or deleting of the recorded information in a part of the sector in which the information is recorded. CONSTITUTION:The recording area 2 is formed in an annular shape concentrical to the rotation center of the information recording medium 1, and the area 2 is devided into plural numbers of sectors 5a - 5x in its circumferential direction. In the recording area 2 recording tracks are formed in herical or concentrial circular form in their radial direction. Thus, information is recorded by assigning addresses corresponding to the sectors 5a - 5x of each track. When information which requires to be stored is recorded in a part of sectors 5a - 5x, a flag which inhibits to record new information in the same sector or inhibits to erase or delete the recorded information is also written in the same sector. Thereby, the information can be stored till the end of the optical recording medium. |
