PURPOSE:To attain communication in an emergency not through a base station by using an emergency switch so as to select simplex and duplex talking. CONSTITUTION:A slave set is in talking with other slave set via a base station normally at a frequency in the duplex mode, and when the base station is faulty, a slave set operates an emergency switch 38 to throw forcibly a simplex/duplex transmission reception changeover device 33 to the position of the simplex SMP thereby receiving a frequency f1. When the user of the slave set depresses a talk switch 37, a transmission reception antenna changeover switch 26 is thrown to the position of a receiver RX the same as the case with the duplex mode and a CS reception section 31 receives the same frequency f1 as the transmission frequency. Thus, the simplex talking with reception priority is started when a reception carrier is not sensed. Thus, the slave set makes simplex talking with other slave set not through the base station by the operation of the emergency switch 38. |
