<p>PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of machine translation by deciding the semantic control code of a morpheme by means of the meaning code of a related node and selecting a translated word by means of the semantic control code. CONSTITUTION:A semantic control code/semantic code selection part 25 which inputs the intermediate structure of an objective language obtained by a sentence structure/ word semantic difference adjustment part 20, which refers respective morphemes of intermediate structure to all the semantic control codes of the morpheme concerned stored in a translated word selection conversion dictionary 3 and the semantic code of the adjacent related node of intermediate structure, which obtains the semantic control codes of respective morphemes and the semantic code and which stores the prescribed result in a buffer 45 is given. Then, the translated word corresponding to the semantic control code which the semantic control code/semantic code selection part 25 obtains from the translated word selection conversion dictionary 3 among the translated words of the objective words as against the morphemes of the nodes which the tarnslated word selection conversion dictionary 3 holds. Thus, the quality of automatic machine selection can be improved, and the interposed of users can be reduced.</p> |
