PURPOSE:To obtain a transfer image with stable picture quality by controlling the surface potential of transfer paper corresponding to a transfer electric field, and preventing density changed due to working environment. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a photosensitive material 1 is electrified with an electrifier 2 as being rotated in a direction of A, and the photosensitive material 1 is irradiated with beam light 18 from an exposure unit 3. Then, image information is formed on the photosensitive body 1 as an electrostatic latent image based on difference between the brightness and darkness of the beam light 18, and the static elimination of a selectively exposed position is performed. At such a case, an electric field is formed between a developing roller 6 and the photosensitive body 1, and a developer 5 is attached on the part of the photosensitive body 1 where no electric charge exists, then, the electrostatic latent image is realized as an actual image. At this time, when environmental temperature is changed, surface resistance is changed due to water content of transfer paper 12, therefore, a constant transfer electric field can be supplied by controlling a resistor 16 with a control circuit 17. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the density fluctuating due to the change of the working environment, and to always obtain the transfer image with superior picture quality. |
