PURPOSE:To reduce noise and to obtain recording and reproducing characteristics of high S/N by forming films into multilayered construction. CONSTITUTION:In figure, 4 is a substrate and 6, 7 are vertically magnetized Co- Cr films having respectively two-layered and 4-layered construction. As the film thickness increases, the noise increases as well but as the number of the layers is larger, the noise is smaller. If the film thickness are the same, the signal outputs are the same irrespective of single layered film or multilayered film. |
