PURPOSE:To contrive the shortening of the time required for printing on medicine folding paper and the improvement of the folding efficiency of a medicine folding machine by a method wherein a printer head is provided in the conveying passageway for the medicine folding paper and such paper is printed while being fed to fixed printer head. CONSTITUTION:A printer device 10, when printing data is inputted thereinto, starts the feed of folding paper S at a predetermined rate. At this time, the rate of the paper feed is made lower than that of the printing by a printer head 14. CPU 22 reads out the font data for printing purpose successively from ROM memory 24 according to the inputted printing data. The transfer of the printing position of the folding paper S to the printer head 14 is then detected by the feed amount data from an encoder 25. The CPU 22 activates a solenoid 19 corresponding to the font data through a drive circuit 20 to move a pin 18 so as to hold a ribbon against the folding paper S, thereby effecting the printing in two rows. |
