The valve gun for high pressure cleaning devices has a plastics gun housing (1) comprising an upper and lower part (14, 13). The lower part (13) includes the handle section (2), the lower part of the outlet section (3), at the outlet connection (9) up to about the centre line of the outlet connection (9), and any protective yokes (4) which are provided. The upper housing part (14) includes the upper part of the outlet section (3), at the outlet connection (9) up to approximately the centre line of the outlet connection, and closes the lower housing part (13) in the manner of a cover. Then the upper housing part is removed or opened up the valve insert (7) can be inserted as a whole from the open side into the lower housing part (13). USE/ADVANTAGE - The two part housing is asymmetrical allowing easier handling.
