PURPOSE:To enhance the steerability and stability of a vehicle by providing a control part for preferentially increasing a damping force, depending upon a drive condition in the constitution wherein the damping force of a hydraulic damper can be manually selected at one of the predetermined levels. CONSTITUTION:In the constitution wherein the flow area of an orifice passage is controlled with an actuator for selecting and adjusting a damping force, for example, at three stages, a selector switch circuit 36 is provided including a selector switch 42 for selection between a normal mode and a soft mode. Also, there is provided a detection part 45 having a brake fluid pressure sensor 46, a vehicle speed sensor 48 and a handle angle sensor 50. When output values from each sensor reaches or exceed the predetermined levels, a signal '1' is outputted from each of output circuits 47, 49 and 51. Also, output signals from the selector switch circuit 36 and detection part 45 are inputted to a control part 52, and when both of the output circuits 49 and 51 send a signal '1' with the selector switch 42 turned to the soft mode, a damping force is turned to the normal mode. |
