PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive material generating no deterioration of a group pattern layer by forming a recording layer from a dithiolatonickel complex containing a polyamide quaternary ammonium cations each having a predetermined MW as a paired ion. CONSTITUTION:An optical data recording medium is constituted by forming a recording layer composed of a dithiolatonickel complex to the surface of a base material 2. As the base material 2, glass, ceramics, metal or paper can be used. The recording layer 1 is composed of the dithiolatonickel complex containing polyamide quaternary ammonium cations represented by formula, each having an MW of 20,000 - 30,000 as a paired ion. The recording layer 2 constituting the optical data recording medium can be made soluble in alcohol by the quaternizing ammoniation of polyamide resin of a definite MW range. Since alcohol being a solvent can be easily and perfectly removed by evapora tion treatment after the formation of a film, alcohol exerts no adverse effect on the formed membrane of the dithiolatonicked complex. |
