PURPOSE:To improve transmission efficiency by recognizing an unnecessary identification bit and sending out data to a transmission line while inserting packet data instead of the unnecessary identification bit even when generating the unnecessary identification bit by setting the format of a transmission frame. CONSTITUTION:When the data are transmitted at various transmission speed between a transmitter 10 and a receiver 30 which are provided while being faced each other, a timing generation part 16 is provided on the transmission side to be controlled by set information to set the format of the transmission frame on a transmission line 20 in advance. Out of the identification bits at the transmission frame, the unnecessary identification bit to be generated by integer multiple transmission as the minimum unit on the transmission line 20 is recognized and the data are transmission while inserting the packet data to the area of the unnecessary bit. Further, a timing generation part 35 is provided on the reception side so that the transmitted data can be restored and received. Thus, on the reception side, the data to be transmitted can be restored and received based on the set information and the data can be transmitted while effectively utilizing the area of the unnecessary bit. Then, the data transmission efficiency can be improved. |
