发明名称 THERMAL RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal recording material having excellent thermal sensitivity and high color-developing sensitivity by containing a specific compound as an electron acceptable compound color-developing a dyestuff precursor. CONSTITUTION:An electron acceptable compound color-developing a dyestuff precursor contains a compound shown in formula 1. In formula, R1 and R2 represent a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group and R3 the hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a halogen atom. A material having the melting point within a range of 60-150 deg.C is practically favorable for using to a thermal recording material. An aimed compound can be acquired by reacting a catechol derivative and a styrene derivative in an acid catalyst. Compounds, etc. shown in formula (2) can be cited concretely. A recording layer mainly comprising a normally colorless or light-colored electron-donative dyestuff precursor and the electron acceptable compound is formed onto a support, and heated by laser beams, etc. and the dyestuff precursor and the electron acceptable compound are reacted instantaneously in the thermal recording material, thus obtaining a recording picture.
