PURPOSE:To execute a measurement with high accuracy, by providing a probe driving device at a position different from a moving part of a measuring machine body, providing an engaging member to be engaged into a supporting member which can be moved in the multidimensional direction and is moved in one body with a probe, on this driving device, and constituting so that the probe can be remote-controlled. CONSTITUTION:A measuring machine body 10 consists of a support 1, a cross beam 2,a sliding lever 3, a slider 4, a tube body 5, a probe 6 and a probe shaft 7, and a moving part 11 is constituted of the sliding lever 3 or the probe shaft 7. To the measuring machine body 10, a data processing device 12 for detecting the extent of movement of the probe 6 in each axial direction and executing a desired operation processing is connected. An engaging member 21 of a probe driving device 20 is engaged to the probe shaft 7, this engaging member 21, for instance, has a structure like an artificial hand, is connected to a driving side 23 of the probe driving device 20 through a connecting lever 22, and the probe 6 is moved in each axial direction. |
