摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To contrive easy connection without forming a gap by forming a structure of insertion holes for inserting a pipe provided in a vessel, annular seal groove of the insertion hole, metal-made seal member of the insertion hole, first plastic seal member of the annular seal groove and second thermoplastic seal member. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a connecting structure in a shell and tube type heat exchanger, insertion holes 21 for a tube 14 are provided in a predetermined position of a cap 11B of a shell. A seal groove 22 is formed in the peripheral direction of an internal peripheral surface of the insertion hole 21. Thereafter, the seal groove 22 is filled with an O ring-shaped lead seal member 24 corresponding to the seal groove 22. A copper-made seal member 23, having a flange 23a, is inserted into the insertion hole 21. Thereafter, a tube 14, applied with solder 25, is inserted to the seal member 23. Next a molded core 26 is heated and press-fitted to the tube 14 to soften the lead seal member 24 while to melt the solder 25. As a result, a vessel can be surely connected to a pipe.</p>
