An objective lens actuator for an optical storage drive includes a torsion plate spring (11) which has a substantially L-shaped transverse cross section and is fixed, at its central portion, to an objective lens holder (12) and, at its opposite ends, to free ends of a pair of parallel spaced, cantilevered plate springs (14). The torsion plate spring (11) is caused to twist to displace the objective lens holder (12) and an objective lens (15) mounted thereon in the tracking direction. The parallel spaced plate springs (14) are caused to bend to displace the objective lens holder (12) and the objective lens (15) in the focusing direction. <IMAGE>
